This is a placeholder set of Terms for Frontier Open University (FOU). Final wording will be reviewed by legal counsel before the site is published to the public.

1. Acceptance

By using this website or applying to any FOU programme, you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, please don't use the site.

2. Programmes & accreditation

FOU is licensed by the National Universities Commission (NUC) of Nigeria. Programme details, fees and admission criteria on this site are subject to change and to NUC approval.

3. Applications & admission

Submitting an application does not guarantee admission. Offers are conditional on verification of your credentials and payment of the acceptance fee.

4. Fees

Tuition and one-off charges are payable per semester. Fees paid are non-refundable except where required by law or FOU policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site or LMS, share your login, upload malicious content, or engage in academic dishonesty. Breach may result in suspension or expulsion.

6. Intellectual property

All course materials, videos, logos and text on this site are the property of FOU or its licensors and may not be copied or redistributed without written permission.

7. Liability

The site is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, FOU is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Kwara State.
